Is The Barn decorated?

The barn is resplendent with gilded vintage mirrors, antique lighting, and draped tulle that make additional decorating completely optional. The outdoor areas glitter at night with thousands of twinkle lights and bistro lights hung over our patio and fire pit. You are welcome to add your personal touches to make the space uniquely yours.

I want to have an outdoor ceremony, but what happens if it rains or the weather is bad?

We have you covered, literally! Because the barn is easily accessible, your guests can wait out the passing shower under our spacious covered veranda. The barn and veranda will accommodate your ceremony and reception beautifully. We have an established plan that creates a seamless transition between ceremony and reception should the need arise. 

Do you require that I use specific vendors?

We provide a recommended list of top notch vendors, such as caterer, florist, photographer, and DJ to provide the best outcome for your important day. Other than DJ, we do not require specific vendors. We are also happy to put together an all-inclusive package if you prefer to eliminate the sometimes intense stress and time commitment of the numerous details involved in planning a wedding. 

How would you describe your venue?

Sorella Farms is nestled on 75 acres of private countryside complete with scenic views of the Blue Ridge mountains. You and your bridal party have exclusive access to our 1827 farmhouse to prepare for your big day. We have multiple ceremony sites for you to choose from. The unique vintage elegance of our 1800s Amish barn, with it's spacious veranda and lush landscapes, provides a stunning backdrop for your reception. 

Is there a place for my wedding party to get dressed?

Yes, we have preparation areas for you and your wedding party in our 1827 farmhouse. Your photographer will also love the backdrop of a unique one-of-a-kind setting as you prepare for your special day. 

How many guests can you accommodate?

Our barn seats 200 guests.The massive doors open to allow guest to enjoy the outdoor patio areas and beautiful views. The venue may accommodate up to 300 guests gala style if desired. 

How will I know if you have my date available?

Our availability changes frequently, but we will do our best to help you find a date that fits your needs. 

Can I tour Sorella Farms?

We provide personalized tours by appointment only. Please email us for an appointment. We can't wait to meet you!

I would like my ceremony and reception to take place in one location. Is this possible?

Most of our couples choose Sorella Farms for both their ceremony and reception. Our 1800's Amish barn and scenic outdoor locations provide numerous possibilities for both. 

How much does it cost to have a wedding at Sorella Farms?

Our prices can vary based on how many guests are expected and the services you require. We offer packages for the venue only along with a full-service package. Our pricing details are here.
